I must begin with my Fanboi choices - The Riggers, Tops, bunnies and bottoms that I absolutely love!
So, I’m going to throw this out there. I’m doing it to start a discussion of players in the rope world that are worthy of everyone's attention. For me, I am a serious fanboi of a couple of Masters and Riggers that I follow, write to, and watch all the time. I know there are a lot out there that I probably don’t know about, but this way perhaps everyone will also share their favorites. I also know that there are a lot of instructional groups and sites worth sharing well. But this is all about the people and the performances.
I suggest, that if you aren’t already, you get familiar with and download Vimeo and Patreon. More about both of them later, but you’ll be using them a lot to find great info, watch scenes, and study tutorials.
Now, I may have a very fertile imagination, but it still gives me incredible ideas watching other performances. I pick and choose what I want to learn and duplicate, and that’s how I’m putting together my #RopeGoals list.
Seriously… It’s a list. And I print it out.

Nawa Ronin is a Master of tradional Kinbaku and Semenawa (torture rope).
He and his wife opened a studio in Berlin called, simply, Studio 6x6.
He says it was “...created as a safe haven for experiments with art, rope, body & soul.”
Visiting his studio is something on my must-do list…

VisualSanctity
Visual Sanctity is a team of rope lovers that, well... Their style is unique. Intense. REALLY fucking intense. And that’s it. I ran out of expletives and pronouns to describe what they do a long time ago.
I was also pleased to be able to purchase my Ogawa jute kit from them. They then made sure I knew how to properly care for it, treat it, and of course, use it! I'm very grateful for all their advice. There is just something about the rope marks left behind by jute...

Rain DeGrey
Yes, I am, above all else, a Sadist. And way back in my early days, watching a scene with Rain in it on Insex or wherever I could find her was beyond fucking intense. This woman has experienced things that would would probably kill most people.. If edge play had a an outer limit, she’s doing her damn best to find it. I have no doubt she’s Carmen’s role model. Rain does rope, but also allows herself to endure some of the most hard core torture imaginable...
BUT… She is an incredibly intelligent, approachable, outspoken advocate and educator in BDSM and the lifestyle, and her posts and chats are always worth following. I have no doubt you'll enjoy her work and writing as much as I do.
